Our newly appointed CEO as of February 2021 is Bram Begonia. For the past 15 years, Mr. Begonia led the Non-For-Profit world, working with underserved and diverse communities. He directed charities in Silicon Valley and Hawaii for the last 14 years, leading up to 400 individuals. Over the years, he helped with Capital Campaigns with $100M strategic plans. Though he was born in Hawaii, he grew up in Southern California and Colorado and returned home to graduate with honors from the University of Hawaii – Shidler School of Business. With a heart for the most vulnerable, we know Mr. Begonia will help BARM complete the last leg of our Capital Campaign for Bridge of Hope Center for Woman in Children.
David has have worked in various positions of non-profit experience, including, Director of Neighborhood Outreach at Rochester Youth for Christ; Program Director at Rochester Teen Challenge; Executive Director at Pivot Ministries; Pastor/Co-Founder of Emmaus Partnership; Co-Founder Pivot CDC and Director of Compassionate Care and Men's Center at The Bowery Mission, NY.
Stephanie joined BARM in 2019; she has 30 years of non-profit experience. Her experience includes the CEO of Country Manager, Principal, Children & Family Pastor, and Vice-President of Development at several prestigious organizations nationally and internationally. She and her husband, Mark, have facilitated seminars, workshops, and training sessions, and are sought after keynote speakers.
Paul joined the Bay Area Rescue Mission team in 2016. He has over thirty years of leadership experience in accounting, finance, operations, and customer relationship management. His expertise ranges from Fortune 500 companies to new start-ups. In these roles, Paul has developed strategy, improved business processes, built teams, and performed acquisition due diligence. Prior employers include Verizon Communications, Nextel/Sprint, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Paul is a CPA (inactive) and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
