Full-Time Resident Assistant, Center for Women and Children

Bay Area Rescue Mission has several open positions for Resident Assistants (RA) within our Center for Women and Children. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This is a full-time position, needs to be available 9am-5:30pm and may include some evenings and weekends. The RA position ensures the safety and well-being of our guests and residents and is one of relational ministry, interacting with our shelter guests and program residents to offer biblical encouragement, hope, support and accountability. The right candidate will have a heart for ministry with those who currently struggle with brokenness, and the ability to compassionately but firmly come alongside, offering hope and life transformation through Jesus Christ. Must be a solid believer, team player, have a teachable spirit, have good organizational skills, be computer literate and good written and interpersonal communication skills.

Part-Time Resident Assistant, Center for Women and Children

Position #1 Part-Time: Needs to be available at least 2 overnight shifts 11pm-7:30am

Position #2 Part-Time: Needs to be available 7am-3:30pm

Events Manager

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a dynamic, driven individual who wants to join our team as our Events Manager. The Events Manager will manage large scale events and projects. This position will oversee the coordination of event marketing and planning efforts and determine a customized marketing strategy for each event. The position is a Full-Time, exempt position and reports directly to the Vice President of Development.

The right candidate will be highly organized, relational, and professional. The position is a Full-Time position. The Events Manager must be a mature Christian, highly driven and productive, a team player, have a teachable spirit, be computer literate, able to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task and project manage.

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a Cook position who can effectively work collaborative with the Food Services team to provide and guide residents/volunteers in planning, preparing and serving meals within assigned shift at a professional level. Inventory, order as needed, process donations, daily interspersing of donated items into planned meals and maintain cleaning procedures. Implement safe food handling practices in accordance with county health code.
