Warehouse Manager

The Bay Area Rescue Mission has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Manager. This position is part of the Program Leadership team and is expected to motivate, delegate, respond to feedback, and solve problems. Responsible for overseeing the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of Gift-In-Kind (GIK) donated goods. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and that the handling and dispersal of goods is compliant with BARM standards and protocols. The Warehouse Manager must be a born again believer who is called of God to the ministry of rescue. Such a calling will be evident in the attitude and actions of the Warehouse Manager when dealing with co-workers, staff, residents, guest, volunteers, public, etc.

Events Manager

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a dynamic, driven individual who wants to join our team as our Events Manager. The Events Manager will manage large scale events and projects. This position will oversee the coordination of event marketing and planning efforts and determine a customized marketing strategy for each event. The position is a Full-Time, exempt position and reports directly to the Vice President of Development.

The right candidate will be highly organized, relational, and professional. The position is a Full-Time position.

The Events Manager must be a mature Christian, highly driven and productive, a team player, have a teachable spirit, be computer literate, able to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task and project manage.

Full-Time Overnight Resident Assistant, Center for Women and Children

Bay Area Rescue Mission has an open position for Overnight Resident Assistants (RA) within our Center for Women and Children. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This is full-time position, 11pm to 7:30am and may include some weekends. The RA position ensures the safety and well-being of our guests and residents and is one of relational ministry, interacting with our shelter guests and program residents to offer biblical encouragement, hope, support and accountability. The right candidate will have a heart for ministry with those who currently struggle with brokenness, and the ability to compassionately but firmly come alongside, offering hope and life transformation through Jesus Christ. Must be a solid believer, team player, have a teachable spirit, have good organizational skills, be computer literate and good written and interpersonal communication skills. Inventory, order as needed, process donations, daily interspersing of donated items into planned meals and maintain cleaning procedures.
