Grants & Foundation Writer

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a Grant & Foundations Writer who can effectively share the ministry and story of the Bay Area Rescue Mission and the many people who come to us and who find hope and life transformation through Jesus Christ.  The right individual will be a gifted and compelling writer with the ability to successfully research grant opportunities and foundations who can fund the Bay Area Rescue Mission.  Due to formation and purpose, the Bay Area Rescue Mission does not receive government money and shall not apply for governmental funding.  Requires self-organization and initiative, must be driven and motivated.  Able to write a high number of high quality and persuasive grant applications and attain funding to substantially increase giving.  The right candidate will be professional, ethical, and able to maintain confidentiality.  Must be able to effectively share the needs and the life-changing stories with those who want and can participate in the fiscal stability and growth of the ministry.  Must be a committed Christ-follower, team player, possess a stewardship mindset, assertive and effective in fundraising and relationship management.  Salary commensurate with experience; please include salary requirements when applying.

Vice President of Programs

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a Vice President of Programs.  The right individual will be theologically aligned with our Statement of Faith and familiar and experienced in Christ-centered programs and services for a population struggling with brokenness, especially related to addiction/recovery and mental health issues.  Must be able to cast vision and support/motivate staff to achieve defined outcomes.  Requires a professional acumen, significantly skilled in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. The VP of Programs is part of the Executive Leadership Team and will lead departmental staff and participate in the organizational planning and decision-making.  The right candidate will have a heart for rescue ministry as well as an ability and willingness to invest in people and in growing programs and services.  Must be a solid and mature Christ-follower, team player, possess a stewardship mindset, assertive and effective in program/service development, employee development, and community relations.  Salary commensurate with experience; please include salary requirements when applying.
