Bay Area Rescue Mission has an opening for the Manager of Men’s Services. The right candidate will be a grounded and mature Christian with a heart and call to minister to men struggling with experiences of lasting addiction and brokenness, sharing the love, hope, and redemption of Christ. The Manager of Men’s Services is responsible for the staff, programming and administration of the Residential Life Transformation Program, the Emergency Shelter, and Aftercare/Graduate programming. The right candidate will be a spiritually healthy and mature individual who is an effective and creative problem solver, and people developer, able to collaborate to enhance curriculum, programs, and services. Seeking a professional who understands, interacts, and consistently demonstrates compassion and respect, within healthy boundaries. Must be knowledgeable of effective biblically-based programming, recovery, emotional and mental health, leadership, program and staff development, and administration of programs and services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software as well as learned proficiency in our internal client database management system required. The position is regular, full-time.
Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a Vice President of Programs. The right individual will be theologically aligned with our Statement of Faith and familiar and experienced in Christ-centered programs and services for a population struggling with brokenness. Must be able to cast vision and support/motivate staff to achieve defined outcomes. Requires a professional acumen, significantly skilled in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. The VP of Programs is part of the Executive Leadership Team and will lead departmental staff and participate in the organizational planning and decision-making. The right candidate will have a heart for rescue ministry as well as an ability and willingness to invest in people and in growing programs and services. Must be a solid believer, team player, possess a stewardship mindset, assertive and effective in program/service development, employee development, and community relations.
