Social Media Manager

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a dynamic, driven individual who wants to join our team as our Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will communicate to the public, churches, businesses, volunteers, donors and individuals in our community through means of social media and press release. This position will be a storyteller with great written and verbal communication skills that can express the mission and impact of the local churches and Bay Area Rescue Mission in reaching the lost and hurting. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Development.

The position is a Full-Time, Hybrid, Exempt. The Social Media Manager must be a mature Christian, highly driven, ethical, trust worthy and professional, a team player, have a teachable spirit, be computer literate, able to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task and project manage.

Events Manager

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a dynamic, driven individual who wants to join our team as our Events Manager. The Events Manager will manage large scale events and projects. This position will oversee the coordination of event marketing and planning efforts and determine a customized marketing strategy for each event. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Development.

The right candidate will be highly organized, relational, and professional. The position is approximately 29 hours weekly. The Events Manager must be a mature Christian, highly driven and productive, a team player, have a teachable spirit, be computer literate, able to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task and project manage.

Donor Relationship Specialist

Bay Area Rescue Mission is seeking a Donor Relationship Specialist. The Donor Relationship specialist is responsible to identify and leverage new opportunities for funding growth while developing key external alliances. The position will cultivate donors and will secure cash donations. The position is also responsible for the management and growth of this personalized portfolio and will generate cash donations to support the Bay Area Rescue Mission’s mission, strategic goals and initiatives. Additionally, this position shall be responsible to enhance the three annual special events.

The right candidate will he highly ethical and have a heart for rescue ministry as well as an ability and willingness to share the needs and the life-changing stories with those who want and can participate in the fiscal stability and growth of the ministry. Must be a committed Christ-follower, team player, possess a stewardship mindset, effective in fundraising and relationship management.

Technology Support Associate

Bay Area Rescue Mission has an immediate opening on our team for an entry-level Technology Support Associate. The Technology Support Associate is responsible to provide basic initial technical support and training to staff. This position requires high customer service similar to that of Helpdesk support. The right candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software as well as in hardware. This is a full-time non-exempt position. The work schedule is flexible and may require occasional evening and weekend work. The Technology Support Associate must have compassion for those we serve and be very dependable and professional. Must be a Christian, a team player, interested and willing to learn, have a teachable spirit, organized, able to meet deadlines and effectively multi-task.

Parent and Child Advocate

Bay Area Rescue Mission has an open position for Parent & Child Advocate within our Center for Women & Children. The Parent & Child Advocate position will develop, encourage and strengthen and support mothers & children in developing spiritually sound and healthy families. The position will focus on assisting the needs of all guests and residents providing an environment where individuals can find hope in Christ and direction for their life by empowering them to change their world. The Parent & Child Advocate position will guide, educate and model programs for parents that are designed to promote social, physical, intellectual and spiritual for families.

The right candidate will have a heart for ministry with those who currently struggle with brokenness. Must be a mature Christian, team player, have a teachable spirit, effectively able to set, keep and model healthy boundaries, have good organizational and resource skills, be computer literate and possess strong interpersonal skills. This is a full-time position, prefer a bachelor’s degree in a related field but will consider related experience in lieu of. Bilingual – Spanish/English preferred.
