The goal of the Bay Area Rescue Mission’s Food Pantry & Distribution Center is to keep people from becoming homeless by distributing food, clothing, furniture and other household items.
Pick-ups are made 7 days a week for donations at over 10 local chain stores and food distribution locations. Approximately 60% of these donated items are used at the Bay Area Rescue Mission to prepare more than 2.9 Million meals annually for the homeless and our community guests while providing their personal needs. The remaining items are distributed to more than 60 agencies in Richmond and the Greater Bay Area.
