Food Pantry

The goal of the Rescue Mission’s Food Pantry & Distribution Center is to keep people from becoming homeless by distributing food, clothing, furniture and other household items.

Pick-ups are made 7 days a week for donations at over 10 local chain stores and food distribution locations. Approximately 60% of these donated items are used at the Rescue Mission to prepare more than 1,144,277 meals annually for the homeless and our shelter guests and provide for their personal needs. The remaining items are distributed to more than 60 agencies in Richmond and the Greater Bay Area.
