Personal Development Class
Teach a class to our Life Transformation Program members on a specific personal development topic. Work directly with our programs staff to craft a class that will make a lasting impact on the men and women transitioning out of homelessness.
Graduation Transition Team
Help provide insight into preparing and transitioning back into the real world. Assist in resume preparation, job interviewing skills, wardrobe selection and more.
Fundraising Committee Member
Join our Mission staff in boosting our seasonal fundraising events (Spring Golf Tourney & Fall Banquet). Assist us in procuring donation sponsors for our Live/Silent Auction selections. Lend us your insight into raising the quality of the event and encouraging key community stakeholders to attending our events.
Special Events
Your school, church, civic group or organization can host Special Events to benefit shelter guests and program members. We have had special bbq picnics, ladies tea party, ice cream social, outdoor choir performance with an outdoor meal, special outings to the Oakland Zoo and Oakland A’s baseball games. The only limit is your imagination and determination to make a lasting impact on those staying at the Rescue Mission.
