San Francisco Bay Area -- With Christmas just a few days away, thousands of concerned Bay Area citizens have rallied to help the homeless and hungry at the Bay Area Rescue Mission.
"During this week, we will be providing more than 25,000 meals for the Bay Area's homeless and impoverished folks," shares Mission Director, John Anderson. "While the generous people of the Bay Area have exhibited great compassion for our neediest citizens, there is still much to be done."
For 45 years the Rescue Mission has been dedicated to helping the homeless and disenfranchised men, women, boys and girls of the Bay Area. Beginning with emergency shelter and meals, through long-term recovery programs, education, job skills training, job placement and transitional living; the Mission has been a beacon of hope for the homeless.
To help the Bay Area Rescue Mission provide Christmas meals and life-changing help for the homeless and hungry, you can donate securely here or call 510-215-4555. Donations may also be mailed to: Bay Area Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 1112, Richmond, CA 94802. Donations are tax-deductible.
