Workplace Giving
Many workplaces, today, have a charitable giving program. Companies supports non-profits by joining in giving with their employees or supporting those non-profits that their employees volunteer their time.
Employee Sponsored Matching Gifts
Companies will match a percentage (20%, 50%) or dollar-for-dollar approach. This is how they support the charity of their emplyee's choice. Ask your HR or Personnel Coorinator if your employer has a matching gift program.
Donor Designate with the United Way & Combined Federal Campaigns
Another way for workplace giving is donor designation with the United Way or CFC (Comined Federal Campaign). Your donation will be of pre-tax dollars, lowering your year-end tax liability.
